THE PREPARATION CHALLENGE

ORE 1 is broad by design. Your preparation needs structure.

Randomly collecting books, PDFs and question sources creates duplication and avoidable gaps. A stronger approach connects the three areas that determine how you interpret and answer ORE Part 1 questions.

01

Basic Medical Sciences

Anatomy, physiology, pathology, microbiology, pharmacology, general medicine and applied dental sciences—revised with clinical relevance.

02

Clinical Dentistry

Core disciplines are organised around diagnosis, treatment planning, clinical judgement and the way questions are framed in UK dental exams.

03

UK Clinical Practice

Prescribing, medical emergencies, consent, safeguarding, radiography, decontamination and professional standards are integrated into preparation.

A REPEATABLE STUDY METHOD

Move from learning to exam readiness in five stages.

The course is arranged as a preparation cycle rather than a library of disconnected files.

  1. 1

    Learn

Build the core theory with comprehensive notes and structured subject resources.

  2. 2

    Practise

Use topic-wise and subject-wise question banks with answer explanations.

  3. 3

    Apply

Connect UK guidance to clinical scenarios and identify the exam-safe response.

  4. 4

    Assess

Measure progress through focused tests and full-length mock examinations.

  5. 5

    Revise

Return to high-yield notes, weak areas and verified previously asked questions.

INSIDE THE MASTERCLASS

UK Guidelines Module

A dedicated module and QBank for UK-specific clinical and professional guidance.

Topic and Subject Tests

Focused assessments help consolidate each stage before full mock examinations.

Grand Mock Examinations

Timed, exam-pattern assessments designed to test application and endurance.

Previously Asked Questions

Curated, subject-wise collections with verified answers and explanations.

High-Yield Revision Resources

Revision notes, tables, mnemonics, shortcuts and supplementary resources.

DEDICATED UK CLINICAL GUIDELINES MODULE

Knowing the clinical fact is only part of the answer.

ORE Part 1 can test how dentistry should be delivered within the UK. The dedicated module goes beyond a folder of advice sheets: it connects source guidance to the decisions candidates are expected to make in exam-style scenarios.

Dental prescribing and antimicrobial stewardship
Medical emergencies and resuscitation
Consent, capacity and confidentiality
Safeguarding children and adults
Radiography and radiation protection
Decontamination and infection prevention
Prevention, recall and oral-health guidance
Professional standards and UK dental practice

Relevant material is organised from sources such as SDCEP, NICE, GDC, NHS, RCS/FDS, Resuscitation Council UK, BDA and UK radiation-protection guidance.
