WHAT ARE THE DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR LDS 1?
- DENTAL DEGREE
- PASSPORT
- ENIC/NARIC STATEMENT OF COMPARABILITY
- NAME CHANGE AFFIDAVIT (IF APPLICABLE)
- **All the documents must be certified copies. Regardless of asked to upload as PDFs or asked to send via courier.
HOW TO APPLY FOR LDS 1?
- LDS 1 application works this way and it’s different from ORE. There are separate applications for Part 1 and Part 2/3.
- Firstly, create an account in RCS England’s website.
- There’ll be a decided time when they open application. Then, using your RCS account, you’ll be submitting an online application (which is more like registering your interest). Watch our social media space for updates.
- Then, RCS selects candidates on some kind of a random ballot system (which is not informed by the RCS)
- Once you’ve been selected. You’ll be asked to Pay for the exam (£900 something) and submit supporting documents- NARIC, Dental Degree, Passport and Name Change Affidavit within the given time frame. From 2022, you can upload these certified documents as PDFs.
FAQ ABOUT ENIC / NARIC
IF YOU HAVE SUBMITTED YOUR ENIC STATEMENT OF COMPARABILITY FOR DH/DT APPLICATION OR ORE APPLICATION; AND IT STILL HAS NOT BEEN RETURNED
- If you already have a certified soft copy of the document as PDF; and IF RCS Eng asks to upload the document as PDF. You can use that.
- If you don’t have a soft copy PDF; you may apply for replacement copy of ENIC Statement by logging in using the same email ID as e-statement.
- Alternatively, if you want to be on the safer side IF RCS Eng asks to send paper documents via courier for 2023 exam; you may order replacement copy. It’ll cost 12 GBP + 10 GBP for “International Signed For” courier.
